Federico Bui was born in Ferrara, Italy, where, from the hight school, he was interested in photography and graphic design. Being influenced by the works of Mustafa Sabbagh and how he works with black color, Federico found his style in primarily black and white photos. After moving to Milan, he continued to experiment with different aspects of photography, perfecting his works.
“Body language” emerged from research on how we express ourselves through our bodies, how it can unconsciously convey our emotions and feelings. It shows how in the moments of fragility and vulnerability we seek to close ourself from the entire world, how in the moments of boredom we don’t know where to put ourselves and what to do, and how in the moments of total indifference our entire body is saying
“I don’t give a damn.”
