Music artist DEVAULT is out with their new EP ‘RUBY‘ and the three part visual experience that will take you on the wildest ride – a follow up to last years JADE.
PART I
The newest, groundbreaking installment of DEVAULT’s audiovisual series is finally unveiled with the release of his full Ruby EP and its accompanying three part visual via Insomniac Records. Ruby is the third installment in Devault’s audio-visual experience. After the gritty sounds of Jade, and the nostalgia brought on by Sapphire, Ruby takes on a more futuristic approach. A clash of 80’s like vocals with a new dark sound. Featuring collaborations with The Bloody Beetroots and Power Glove, Ruby captures the true sonic nature of Devault and his world. Darkness, tension, and release.
PART II
What started as a creative hobby in the calm scenes of Orange County soon became a personal quest to form something bigger than a unique venture – a modern new wave sound that takes dark rhythms and ethereal-like sound design and clashes them together in perfect sequence. The desire to create music and become an electronic artist has always been a hidden pulse in DEVAULT’s life, whether it stemmed from his early obsessions over Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan, or analyzing the blend of fashion, film, and music altogether. It’s no longer a search for genre, but rather an evolving sound, appreciating the trials of young adulthood at age 22 and letting him and his audience grow into something beyond a young man and his music. In 2018, DEVAULT was tapped for official remixes with Rihanna, Lorde, and 6lack, amassing millions of plays on all platforms and being a crucial part of Rihanna’s “Sex With Me” #1 spot on the Billboard Dance charts. DEVAULT has been most notably known for his remix of DJ Snake’s “A Different Way” (DEVAULT Remix), which Billboard labelled as one of the top ten remixes of the 2017 year. DEVAULT went on to release his debut ep STAY later in 2018, which featured NJOMZA, Bipolar Sunshine, Matt Maeson, and Porches. 2019 was a year of breaking trends for DEVAULT, with the dynamic releases of his JADE and SAPPHIRE EPs signifying an artist truly coming into his own and embracing his roots. With a slew of more music and a handful of massive shows this year, 2020 looks to be the year of DEVAULT.
PART III

Ruby altogether is 6 songs accompanied by a 10 minute short film divided into 3 episodes. As you take in the project and it’s visual piece, Devault’s desire to create a unique footprint in the electronic scene is taking hold.
