Music artist Jon Harris is out with their new single ‘I Don’t Wanna Hear It‘!
Jon Harris is a Hip Hop recording artist and record producer from New York. Although he has been working on music for several years he has recently starting moving towards selling music. Using his mixtapes to learn the process of making music and musical projects since high school; Harris is putting everything he knows to work now. The first single from his very first album “Who Is Jon Harris” is called “I Don’t Wanna Hear It”.
The song is about his distaste for societies lack of class with conversation. He expresses his frustration with the gossip and overall nonsense people take interest in conversing about. He make a bold statement regarding the topic and doesn’t shy away from being as blunt as possible. Listening to some of his previous music, this seems to be a pattern in his writing style; not holding back or biting his tongue. It may seem harsh to some but it seems effective as his audience is on the rise.
The song saw 358 streams on Spotify the first week. Jon has said because it’s his first song he doesn’t really know what to expect but understands he is building his brand from the ground up. The next week was a successful increase with 5180 streams on Spotify after having a day with over a thousand streams. The song, though provocative, forces the listener to decide if they agree or not. The growth of the song may indicate more and more people may feel the same way…but the question is, what will you think?
