Photographer Tim Goodwin and model Celeste teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘A Tiny Dissonance‘.
My collaborator and I have been taking pictures together for the past 5 years, and we wanted to make something as simple as possible but make it feel a little off. We were shooting in an abandoned apartment in Manhattan, and found some glass in a corner; I put it up to the lens and created the mirrored effect in these pics. Not necessarily the kind of thing that would qualify me as a rocket scientist, but it helped us achieve the feel we wanted.
“I’ve been a photographer in New York City for the past 13 years, taking headshots for theatre folk and filling people’s portfolios for modeling agencies. Just trying to keep things as simple as possible without the pictures looking like it.”
