Having quickly established themselves as a new act to watch this year, Florida based 9-piece seeyousoon reveal their third offering in a stellar new single, “Blue Chord”. Having gained plaudits already from the likes of FADER, Wonderland Magazine, COLORS, Lyrical Lemonade, Ones To Watch and more on the back of storming offerings “Steamy” and “ICFWT”, “Blue Chord” serves to further fuel anticipation for their debut album VIDÉ, set for release this year. Speaking on the release, the group state:
“To us, Blue Chord is a stand-out moment from our upcoming album. It started out as more of an experiment than anything, trying out more dance-forward production and writing. When it was all said and done the track ended up becoming one of our favorites. Not only that but it also served as a reminder to stay loose and keep an open mind in regard to trying new things with our music”
Drawing comparisons to the likes of Brockhampton and Odd Future, seeyousoon have quickly established themselves as ones to watch this year. The nine—Ignacio, Kenny, Denny, Maddie, Josh, Dre, Drex, Luke, and Mitch- formed in 2018 based on a shared love artists as diverse as Jadakiss and Mars Volta.
