Photographer Jamey Charlet and model Robin Charlet teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Painted Pygmalion‘. Drawing inspiration from Helmut Newton and the Arte Povera movement, Jamey sought to capture body painting in a different way, with attention to composition and texture rather than traditional body painting imagery. Also being absolutely colorblind, Jamey tends to use vibrant colors and composition to make the unique artistic perspectives in their creations. Originally from New Orleans, I live life colorfully on the East Coast as Jamey prepares to move to Tulum, MX upon retirement from the Postal Service.
