Growing up as an immigrant from Russia, TZAR navigated the music scene in San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. She departed the Bay Area for Los Angeles to build her solo project in 2016 and built connections for the past 4 years — slowly meeting the creatives who wanted to invest in her. During this time she’s performed at Red Rocks with Zed’s Dead, The Globe Theater in LA, and The Warfield in San Francisco and worked with some of LA’s best beat scene producers.
After years of writing in rooms and finding her tribe, multi-platinum producer Djemba Djemba (producer for Kehlani, Sia, Madonna) found her, and signed on to executive produce her debut EP which is now signed to Caroline Worldwide/SET Records. Her new record’s first single is What Ur Lookin’ 4 — produced by Djemba Djemba and JULiA LEWiS (prod. G-Eazy, Blueface) is the first solo song she’s ever released. She has worked most recently collaborated with KSHMR (~4mm streams on a single), Zeds Dead (~5mm streams) k.flay, zeds dead, MEMBA, Montell2099, SACHI, John.k, Shaun Lopez, Falcons, Promnite, etc.
