Photographer Isaebella and model Ishtar Moon teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘ÆSIR-VANIR‘.
Raised in the forest in Central Victoria, Australia, Ishtar is an experienced model who loves expressing herself through art and her body. Trained in contemporary dance and yoga, she demonstrates graceful poise and elegance for the camera in a way that stimulates thought about the lightness and darkness of humanity and femininity. She is experienced in shooting in a number of settings and with diverse photographers and enjoys a challenge. Model for nude art photography, as well as fashion, lingerie and jewelry.
Raised on Dja Dja Wurrung country, in a family of artists, musicians, actors, filmmakers & farmers, Isaebella spent her youth homeschooled & traveling the world. A self-taught filmmaker & photographer, Isaebella has been immersed in visual arts from a very young age, with the guidance of her family & peers.
Inspired by the neologism of sonder, her work centers around connectivity & calm, a deep belief that every one being and their story is important. Isaebella won the ‘2019 Olive Cotton People’s Choice Award’, the ‘2017 Maggie Diaz Photography Prize for Women’ and has participated as a finalist in many photographic prizes around the country, with her debut feature documentary, ‘Polyfaces’ (2015, co-directed with Lisa Heenan), winning many awards internationally.
Isaebella is co-Director of regenerative agriculture & living non-profit, Regrarians Ltd.
