Photographer FrenchPostcarcds and model Sara teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Anti-Fashion‘. At the base of the project is the love for female beauty, the centrality of the model’s personality; her body and her character. Aesthetics and natural essence are the root of the project, giving a sensual or erotic cut, within the limits dictated by the subject, the true protagonist of the photo. The photographer accompanies, supports, encourages and directs respectfully. So what does “anti-fashion” have to do with it? Fashion for me represents exactly the opposite of what I have described: the model, her body and her character are not the center of attention. The photo is totally fake, the model often plays a forced part, it is part of the advertising language. At the center of the photo is the dress, the accessory, the perfume, the merchandise. The model is a mannequin in the hands of the photographer and the customer, there is nothing of her in the photo except the goods to be sold.
