‘COLOURS AT NIGHT’ A NEW VISUAL STORY BY PHOTOGRAPHER ‘KEIR SIEWERT’

Staring Model 'Irida S Michail'

Photographer Keir Siewert and model Irida S Michail teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Colours At Night‘.

Her photography has always been based indoors and she works a lot with gels, intense colours and noir-ish lighting styles. COVID forced her to shoot outdoors in order to maintain social distances and adhere to the UK government’s guidelines. So she went out exploring her local area of Wood Green in London and found some great spots. She tells us, “I wanted to bring some of the stylised in door lighting I do, to the outside and frame a fairly unseen area of London in a colourful moody light.

She’s a Scottish/American filmmaker and photographer whose work includes ‘DUCHESS‘, a short film about a female Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. RETCH a horror short that played at genre festivals around the world such as Morbido, Fantasporto and the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, where it is up for a Silver Méliès. It was also an official selection at both the London and Glasgow Short Film Festivals. It’s was picked up for distribution by ALTER and is available to watch on YouTube.

Kier was part of ‘PORTRAIT‘, an exposé on the behavior of photographers in the fashion world, in the wake of the Me Too movement. The film was given funding through GENERA. She also contributed a segment to the lockdown horror anthology film ISOLATION.
