Photographer Reno Blair and model Asia Carrasquillo teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘The Colony‘. Renlo has been a photographer for most of her life, but just started finding herself in her work by studying lighting instead of photography. She proclaims, “I drink too much black coffee and edit my photos while I’m violently stoned lol…” with her headphones in and the focus on only the art matters for a while. This particular body of work was inspired by music she found while on a rabbit hole of new music research the night before her shoot. “The song had her feeling some type of way”, she says. She shot Asia at an up and coming event space/nudist colony in San Diego. They provide breath work workshops as well as yoga retreats and music festivals. The rocks she shot Asia in are just below “Temple Rock” on site at the Colony. Her whole goal in her work she says, is to, “make the viewer feel something…”.
