Photographer Lentille NU and their anonymous model teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Hidden Beauty‘. Lentille never planned a career in photography, but couldn’t stop themselves! They’ve been passionate about cameras for years and as a young photographer they ventured all across the city and mountain regions of Cape Town, fine tuning their eye for street photography and nature.

“Fine Art, especially nudes, has always fascinated me. Salvador Dali and the Greeks displayed the human body in all sorts of wonderful ways.”

French Fine Art photographers, romance and nature were some of their first inspirations. Their very name Lentille NU translates to Naked Lens. They seek to capture beautiful, quiet and unseen moments of the human body.

In a world that is over-sexualized, they aim to explore more creative ways to display the natural beauty of the body, and not just nudity per-se. For this reason too, most of their models are kept private.
