Photographer Andrew Jordan and model Anastasiya Shchekina teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Neon Etude At The Wardrobe‘.
Wardrobe. Does anyone think that most people’s day begins and ends around this soulless object? This is the forerunner and the exodus, he dresses and undresses, it stores the outfits of the new release and hides the old clothes. The largest and most talented Russian playwright Anton Chekhov in the famous play “The Cherry Orchard” (written more than 100 years ago), through the mouth of one of the characters, a congratulatory ode to the wardrobe is pronounced:
“Dear, much-respected wardrobe! I welcome your existence, which for more than a hundred years has been directed towards the bright ideals of goodness and justice; your silent the call for fruitful work has not weakened for a hundred years, supporting (through tears) in the generations of our family cheerfulness, faith in a better future and educating us in the ideals of goodness and social self-consciousness…”.
There is some kind of incomprehensible mystery in the fact that they pay more for an unloved job. Apparently society is so cynically arranged that if you offer the most expensive thing you have – your best time of life, then they willingly pay for this resource and for this energy. And if you dare to do what you love and try to offer your results in this endeavor, then money bypasses you. The creative path of the photographer from Russia Andrew Jordan is a confirmation of this.
