Photographer Sakas and model Maria Kn teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Our Afternoons in Berlin‘.
Inspired by lockdown and many of my friends who are separated from their lovers, the idea is to connect and explore what intimacy and sensuality looks like between people at a distance. A Hong Kong based photographer feeling the squeeze and isolation of strict city lockdowns, I am a candid portrait and boudoir photographer. And while lockdowns have begun to ease for many places, HK is still under intense immigration control; many who’ve left cannot return and the uncertainty means that many here cannot leave. So we’ve turned to technology to help us bridge the distances. To explore more of what it means to connect, to build relationships, and to share intimate moments with one another.
