Ukrainian photographer Julia Radionova and model Annie teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Julia Wants Beautiful‘.
Julia grew up in Kyiv. In 2014 she completed the full course of the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts, and obtained the qualification of “Theatre and Show Program Director”. Julia started photographing on film in 2018. She captures the interests and interaction of people, their generation, and translates this through the “naked body” of their models. She is a supporter of the rejection of imposed stereotypes of beauty, which greatly affects her perception of aesthetics.
In October 2019, under the guidance of a curator, she organized an apartment exhibition, the purpose of which was to show works that are prohibited by social networks. In 2020, she gave a lecture in the framework of the project “In the lens of the photographer”. Her work has been published in European publications.
