Baku, Azerbaijan-based photographer Ali Abdulkareem and model Ramina Mammedli teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘Mountains of Madness‘. This new series celebrates being unique and empowered, To embrace sensuality and being comfortable showing it and being proud of it. The idea to do the project came from years of analyzing social customs and societal behavior toward the subject of sensuality. Sensuality and the female form have been a source of inspiration for artists and civilizations alike.
Ali Abdulkareem is a multi-published artist and photographer. Passionate about art since a young age. Curious about patterns, shapes, and how objects and ideas relate to each other. Photography among other art forms (including music, theatre, and painting) and to some degree Literature fascinated Ali, so, Ali chose photography as means of self-expression, communicating thoughts and ideas in a unique unspoken manner.
