Day 1 of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN kicked off with a bang last week with some epic first guests, notable activities and special events around the grounds. As festival goers poured into the campgrounds, setting up the unique outdoor living spaces that are a reflection of themselves and their energy, the lineup and festival grounds began opening with a vision and excitement that has been years in the making. This year it wasn’t the rain, like in 2021, that had everyone waiting with bated breath, it was the heat. A massive heat wave was engulfing the Tennessee Valley and much of the Mid-West and Southeastern U.S. as the festival began, but you wouldn’t have noticed with all the excitement of the festival beginning. Although it was hot, nearly 108 on Thursday when everything started, it was the music lineup that really heated up as Clozee and Dillon Francis got the Where in the Woods stage bouncing deep into the night as well as Gryffin, The Dip, Nothing, Kenny Mason, Goth Babe and more took to the main stages! Overall, Day 1 was magical and struck just the right tone to get the festivities going..
