Mariya believes that the human body is a vessel of eternity that carries so many depths. In this process of experimenting and touching new strings of beauty and flesh, she seek to build memorable connections with herself and others. Inspiring other artists and everyone who can see beyond the sexy poses, because her goal as a visual artist is to let the poetry of our bodies tell the story.
Mariya Aleksandrova, was born in Ukraine and raised in the south of Portugal. Her artistic side has always been a magnet to her senses and since she was a child photography was one of her main inspirations. Observing details and dreams are a big source of creativity in her work. Since the pandemic she began to do self portraits and explore her own body as canvas. She is based in Porto, Portugal.
