OUR HISTORY
Since 2014,N A K I D has been documenting up and coming artists, creative culture, musicians and the tastemakers who think outside the box and push the limits of societies views on culture, sex, art & music. Based in San Diego, CA, N A K I D has grown from an online curated mission to now reaching over 15+ million content views weekly and 955,000 weekly readers. We have always believed in exploring, whether it be ideas, places, new creative outlets or most of all communication; between one another and with each other creatively.
OUR GOAL
N A K I D is an independent international underground brand/media company that specializes in featuring up and coming artists, curating events and creating content for brands through media partnerhips and collaborations. We want to bring up and coming artists closer to brands and vice versa, making sure those artists out there have a chance to show what they are made of without the bias of how popular or well known they are on social media or within the industry – if the work is good, it deserves to be seen; that’s the motto we live by here at N A K I D.
We also want to bring brands and artists together and we are doing just that with new partnerships like OpenCall.io and giving the chance for artists who have never been published to see their work in print with our exclusive limited edition MINI-ISSUES. OpenCall is a new collaborative app that lets artists, brands, studios, assistants, music artists and more connect with one another to collaborate, create or hire each other for shoots, events & more no matter where you are in the world!
