Electric Wire Hustle is not just another musical duo taking the deep house online industry by surprise – with a more elegant and climactic sound that could appeal to the R&B enthusiast as much as the electronic experimental crowds, they are proving to be versatile and in demand. The talent behind the two producers makes you question any kind of genre categorizing boundaries, an obscure painful nu soul take on an upper drum and base drum line that makes Electric wire Hustle sound so rare and so good.

Their newest release “Aeons” the EP, will be released later on this month Via Bastard Jazz Records so make sure you keep checking back.  The single ‘Aeons’ was released just a couple days ago along with a quote from their label that reads as follows..

“The ‘Aeons EP’ is a collection of short stories, brought to life by the unmistakable voice of Mara TK, and the progressive beats of Taay Ninh. The ‘Aeons EP’ also features guest vocal appearances from Deva Mahal and Grammy Award winner Kimbra.”

In between studio time and other gigs EWH managed to collaborate with one of hip-hop’s biggest legends, Yasiin Bey, for ‘Marigolds’ a track layered with some old sensual blues feeling of a Marvin Gaye song, but with a little extra bass and an electronic feeling.

Another killer collab for the duo was with the always stylish and soulful Kimbra. This one as part of their upcoming EP. The track  is titled “Brother Sun”, where the two parties danced very softly over a hip hop infused melody. An intricate rhythmic display but it seems like it comes naturally for these two.  Make sure to pre-order ‘Aeons’  HERE.
