KLAUDIA – STEPHAN SMALL {EXCLUSIVE EDITORIAL}

Photographer, Stephan Small grew up immersed in Hip Hop culture and inner-city estates. Stephan would spend time admiring street art & graffiti, which covered the old high-rise blocks of flats commonly seen in Hulme and Old Trafford. In his teens Stephan expressed himself through music and sketching. He was obsessed with music and animation. Often spending time sketching cartoon characters and learning how to make music. This continued for many years and later on he established himself in the Manchester urban music scene, collaborating with various artists around the city, under the alias ‘SmallBeats‘.
