Anna Hirata is a self-portrait artist who got their start when scouted as a commercial model in Japan. Now that she is married and freelancing in NYC, she spends a lot of her time doing self-portraits. Her husband is the artist behind the artworks in this mini set she designed at their studio.
“I aimed to create two “characters” or concepts here. The white dress being “the artist” and the naked ones being “the patron” who greatly admires (and collects) the artworks and the artist behind them.”
