What happens when high fashion meets the apocalypse? Ellen von Unwerth, simply one of the best high fashion photographers out there, presents us this chilling scenario in her latest editorial and fashion film titled, “Blackout.” Starring models Kasia Struss and Maaike Klaasen, the editorial explores the panic, rage, and physical and mental turmoil that these women face in a crazy, messed up, Mad Max-esque world. If it were up to us, we’d take off the heels asap, but damn, those fur jackets look so chic!
The film and photo series, commissioned by MemoriesLab, are on exhibit at the 10 Corso Como Shanghai until January 3rd, and then will be on display in Hong Kong until February.
