Visual artist, Raisa Christina Lima Saraiva submitted a series of photographs simulating performance art.
“These photographs were inspired by some watercolors I’ve made recently. They all brought a female body – self portraits, maybe – in which the red color appears as menstrual blood but also as a special strength that women have to turn pain into something else.”
