Growing up in a small town near the sea, Lana Prins has always romanticized the world around her. Prins makes a lot of intimate self portraits, shoots her close friends and does fashion stories as well. Photography is a way for Prins to show and tell her stories, without giving everything away at once. Her work is a reflection of daily life together with a translation of her emotions and thoughts. “I want to show the viewer pieces of my life. Whenever truly happened in that split second, or totally staged, my photos always show my feelings of that exact moment.”
This time she worked on a photo story in the dunes near Amsterdam with Dutch model Alba and stylist Merle van der Wal.
