Born in June of 1993, in Tehran, Iran, photographer & creative director has traveled a long road to freedom of expression of his work. In native Iran, nude work is considered, well, it’s banned let’s put it that way. Ali Zamani K thankfully lives in St. Petersburg, Russia now and has been professionally working as a creative director since 2013 doing nude photography for the last 3 Years. He is infatuated with the work of Ralph Gibson including the very well-known photo from him titled “Striped” for which Ali took as an inspiration for this series in today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial.
He had this to say of the idea:
“Of course, this form of lighting is nothing new, but I’ve tried to put my vision on the idea and by using two different film stock, come up with something relatively new..”
