‘MY SHELTER, MY BRAIN’ A NEW SERIES BY ILLUSTRATOR/ARTIST ‘JIM CHEN-HSIANG HU’

Illustrator and artist Jim Chen-Hsiang Hu created this breathtaking series of works for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘My Shelter, My Brain‘.

Among the fields he works, drawing is always the native one. The earliest memory he says he can effectively recollect was about drawing, although details within are not very well preserved. “Toddler me was drawing already. Over the years I draw based on my sentiments, memories, reflections, dreams, scenes flashed over my mind, it also shelters me from the incompatible surrounding. And since drawing was firstly a mother tongue and a limb before the concept of art arrived in my personal history. I touch and sense the unknown that is still shrouded in darkness via drawing and respond back via drawing too.”
