Photographer Mr. Liam Boath and model Lewis Mann teamed up for today’s exclusive NAKID feature editorial titled, ‘The Modern Mann’.

Liam Boath is a photographer who aims with all his work to represent real people, entirely as they care to present. Liam believes that a duality exits between who we are in our day to day lives and who we are behind closed doors, and argues that those who feel free enough to reverse this and in this instance, explore the world of kink are the realist versions of themselves and are to be celebrated and brought forward into the spotlight.

To represent real people, in the hope that one day everyone can be who they truly are, without fear of judgement or attack. This editorial work is a section of this venture, with Model and fellow photographer- Lewis Mann. The idea behind the shoot was precisely as denoted above, to explore and capture the model entirely as they chose to present, in poses atypical of a portraiture session. To suggest sensuality, sex, nudity, confidence and pride. To create discomfort for the viewer so that some level of engagement was had with the images and in so much, challenge preconceived notions of what we find to be “comfortable”.
