Photographer, Esteban Ávila submitted to us an editorial he did for an advertising campaign for the designer Valentina Chaves In which, they talk about “Desire” using Eve and Lilith as a reference.
“When God created the earth he created Adam and Lilith, as equals, Adam did not like that, Adam wanted to be the dominant and the superior. Lilith leaves The Eden because she did not want to be in a relationship as a subordinate. God see this Punish Lilith and banishes her. Then, God notices that Adam is alone so God creates Eve from a rib by making her by consequence, inferior, since it is from a part of Adam and not from a creation made from scratch by God. Lilith looks for a way to get revenge on Adam since he was the one who accused Lilith of leaving him, Lilith decides to go to Eve and tell her that if she ate the forbidden fruit it would be mean that Eve would become an equal and become a creative entity, a Goddess.”
