Theresa Manchester currently works as a freelance model and lives on the road full time with her dog Obi. Together, they tour the countryside in search of America’s most stunning landscapes and lesser known wonders. In between modeling and sitting behind the wheel, she photographs the women she meets on her journeys. This series she submitted the model begins the photo story in a state of thought, stillness and concentration. Slowly the light morphs and becomes fractal around her, gaining momentum and increasing in size. It swallows her figure until she becomes as abstract as geometry – swallowed alive by her thoughts and her mind.
