Stephanie Anne Williams is photographer and creative director working in NYC. This is a self-portrait series, shot by Sasha Reheylo.
“I used enlargement and layering to emphasize parts of the body and create a surreal scene. I hoped to mirror society’s obsession with sexual images while distorting the view of what sexual means. I was completely submerged in sand for some shots. Almost broke my neck on that last shot. I had the vision and Sasha helped me execute it. He also kept me from suffocating which was a added bonus.”
